It is starting to seem like months since we were back in the US. Probably because of situations like this. I'm typing this right now sitting in the shade from the sun on the deck of the hostel overlooking the (somewhat grimy) pool. There are a group of Germans cooking some dinner in the open air kitchen and some others are playing ping-pong. Some Irish people we met, who have been traveling for six months, are sitting around reading and sun worshipping. Sean and I are relaxing, sharing a large cold Quilmes cerveca while we read and catch up with the Internets. I miss Deva, and I wish she was here for this, but I don't miss the cold of New York.
After a small issue with taking the wrong bus and almost ending up in Brazil without our passports we spent most of the morning exploring Iguazu falls which are very touristy, but incredible. Standing there at the top of the falls looking out over the torrent of water as it falls right under your feet is an amazing experience. Bring a lot of water if you go though, because it can get very very hot. I'll leave my description there, I have uploaded a set of new photos with lots of the falls, so you can see them yourself on my picasa photo album.
We had a bit of a shock when we walked back into our room. There had been two other guys there before, but when we walked back in there was a bunch of womens clothes and swimming costumes all over the beds. Turns out we are in the mixed dorms and there are two Finish girls staying with us. Really nice people. I can say this for sure because they were super nice about the fact that Sean stole one of their passports and documents, he had taken their waist wallet and locked it away, thinking that the wallet was his :)
